Congratulations 1/2 Marathon Finishers!!!
You guys totally ROCK!
At DayTripping we can not express how proud we felt to be in the presence of you all on the 8th of August throughout the course and at the finish line. You put in 10 weeks of great training and the result of coming across the finish line was sweet to say the least.
It was a perfect day for a race. The weather and the course were excellent and so was the finishing venue. Everyone of you deserves a medal....oh wait you all got one...that is because whether you were in first place of at the end of the pack, you trained, you started, you persevered and you finished and that is the best.
Yennah wants you all to know that your presence at the race was well noted. She has received numerous comments from her old running buddies and her new soon to be Nordic Walking buddies on how well represented the Nordic Walkers were. Yennah wants to thank you all for your participation and commend you on your accomplishment.
Congratulations to our top three girls Bonnie, Kim and Pam. Great job! As well as John who placed 4th overall but first from our group, so great job John.
