Top-Roping & Anchor Building
This intensive two-day
program is designed to teach new climbers how to safely set up top-rope rock
climbs climbing areas. By the end of the 2-days participants should feel
comfortable heading out on their own for a day on the rocks at crags where the
top is accessible without having to lead climb. Many different anchor setups
will be taught and practiced with emphasis on safety and simplicity. Proper set
up of rappels will also be covered.
This course is taught a
climbing instructor with 25-years experience and training by the ACMG
(Association of Cdn Mountain Guides) and PCIA (Professional Climbing
Instructors Association).
There are no
prerequisites for this course.
